  1. Traditional Self Growth and Self Development Resources

Until now, the foundation for self growth has primarily centered around the concept of "self help". However, we are not equipped to extricate ourselves from the pit or rut in which we have become mired along the road of life. Traditional self help resources have typically come from high profile authors, business gurus and motivational speakers in the form of books, cassettes, CD's and DVD's. While this is a multi-billion dollar industry, for most people the beneficial outcomes are minimal. In fact a high percentage of people never finish reading the book or completely listen to the audio materials which they had purchased. The smaller percentage of people who do, ultimately struggle with the implemention of the information provided. Even worse, are those people who never even remove the clear wrap from the package, which in the end sits on their shelf for years to come.

Many of these self help materials which are intended to provide assistance with the process of self development and self improvement, merely serve to better define the problem or challenge that we are already struggling with. With the realization that you have no direct access to communicate directly with the author or speaker, these self help resources literally become a do-it-yourself project, whereby you have to figure it out for yourself. With respect to training classes, seminars and workshops, research studies indicate that information retention from these self development resources are also extremely low.
